Great suggestion...thanks.

Allen
Evaporrust works good but when doing a large item like leaf springs and having to fill a large container for the purpose it can get pricey. If money is no object then it is a very good product . A comparable product for less money is Rust911.It comes as a concentrate that you mix with water.   Both work Great.

I know Turnall asked this in 2016, but My A-code GT, the vin of which puts it within a week of Turnall’s, certainly has RED paint on the leafs. My car was undercoated and that preserved the red paint. I picked off a little undercoating and here’s what I found.

I should also mention mine have exactly the same markings as Turnall’s, including the 270E5 date code!
