Well I guess I should know by now not to speak in absolute terms. I just looked at a build sheet for an M code auto with a 3.00 axle and no A/C or extra cooling and it has a C8SE-B fan. As do all other autos, even those with a 351W.

Checked the buildsheets I have handy and found the following as far as fan ID numbers

0F05H15484x 3 Spd   AC        8SE B   Rear-952A
0F05M1769xx  Auto    AC        8SE B   Rear-952A
0F02M182xxx 4 Spd   No AC   8SE A   Rear-955A

0T05x1569xx  Auto    No AC   8SE B   Rear-953A
0T05M1690xx 4 Spd   No AC   8SE A  Rear-955A

F codes also used the same fans

At some point the D0ZE-8600-B 5 blade flex fan was also used. Basically a copy of the C8SE-B 5 blade flex fan.

When in production was it used on Mustangs?  And got to ask - where does the DOZE-B fan info come from. If from the MPC that might not be correct

If they were used in 1970 it must have been very late as the earliest date I have seen on a D0AE fan was June 1970. And the D0AE fan is larger diameter than the C8SE fan.
