I was just out testing the light and switch I got for this.  The light seems to have a blinking bulb in it.  Is that the correct bulb?  Is it suppose to blink to warn you your parking brake is on, or was it just a steady light?  I really think I'm going to locate or make a bracket to mount it like the seat belt add on light on a Mustang.

Look inside the bulb. A flashing bulb has a bimetallic strip that heats and cools to give the flash when power is applied. Also, read the bulb number on the base. You may need that later.
