Quality AGM battery or topper
« on: June 13, 2020, 10:17:09 AM »
Wanting to purchase a quality AGM battery that looks original or install a topper on an AGM battery. Needing suggestions for a 67 Mustang GT. Thanks in advance.

Got a sealed AGM at Batteries Plus here in Tulsa. It was $423 out the door after the core credit. Heaviest battery I have ever lifted! The Autolite battery topper fit perfectly.

Am using Optima red top batteries. They advertise a 10 year life. Have a around 4 of them with 2 near 7 years they still test good.  Purchased the dual terminal style because they get swapped around.  However the dual post style puts the positive side post near the inner fender on a Mustang so I leave the plastic shipping cover on. Last one cost about $220.

Can you show a picture of your setup? Thanks.

Currently using my red top Optima I stole off my trailer winch. Great battery just prefer something stock appearing that fits the battery tray and hold down bracket with no worries of acid leaks. Thanks.
