Topic: 1968 Fold Down Latch Discussion

Not a trap door topic, but part of the fold down rear seat assembly. Just curious about the finish on the latches and which one is the original version. They do appear to be zinc just like the read trap door latch. You will see on mine that the 2 latches differ considerably. I assume however that the latch with the "L" is the original. Also curious about the bolts as they appear to be dichromate, but the red dye looks like red oxide primer to me, but it could just be discolouration. Normally I have found that the red dye looks similar on all bolts that are dichromate.

How hard is it to find original latches.
