I'm looking for the tower-style Wittek clamp(s) that go on the bypass hose of the water pump to the intake manifold on the 428 SCJ engine that's being built for one of my cars.  I've done a search, but am not sure of the size or where to order.  And are there one or two of these clamps on this little hose?

Thanks!

Kim - there are two, and they are the same size as the heater hose (because the FE bypass hose is a section of heater hose).  5/8" hose clamp.  They are in the AMK catalog and also in NPD in the heater hose section.

Ah, good old NPD!  Didn't think to look there--I was finding John Deere applications and such with my Google search.  Thanks, Jim.

FYI although the heater hose will work and I have used it myself numerious times, the Ford engineered bypass hose is actually a  slightly smaller outside diameter . It was serviced as a separate part and not specified to be cut from bulk as other things sometimes are. It may be a higher pressure capacity or maybe it will not balloon up like the heater hose does sometimes when clamp tighten. Sometimes you see them for sale on ebay. Bob

Bob, like this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NOS-58-76-FORD-390-427-428-CJ-BYPASS-HOSE-MUSTANG-/190563805800?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c5e7cea68

Seems kind of expensive?
That is one . I see them go for between 15 to around 35.00. As metioned before the heater hose can be used as a substitute but these engineered parts give a cleaner look most of the time IMHO. Bob
