The 66 Mustang Electrical Assembly Manual (AM0013 pg35) says the bolt is 20350-S36, 7/16-14X3/4 in L, 5/8 Hex drive, gold zinc, used with 34943--S36, 7/16 external tooth lock washer, also gold zinc. The use of the gold zinc finish, -S36, on 66 cars is different from 64-65 ground cables which were -S8. Ford used the gold zinc finish on electrical connection in later years. This was apparently started in 1966 but in typical Ford economic assembly line practices, was phased in. It may be assembly date related.
I suggest that you get a set of the Osborn Assembly Manuals for your car. You will also need the 64-65 Mustang Chassis Assembly manual.
