Topic: Interior screw, black Phillips with built in Washer

I’m looking for the common Ford interior screw. I have seen it in several sizes. It’s the typical black Phillips with built in fixed washer. Looking around AMK I only saw 1 RH2.  This is for my 85 ASC McLaren. While ASC did not use the Ford Hardware, I need something that holds up against flash rusting. It also does not help that the upholstery guy replaced the black screws with brightly plated hardware when replacing the convertible top.

Can someone point me to some original Ford looking screws that will not rust in a week? Thanks.

can you go back to the upholstery & ask for your screws back?? that would be my first move. second move is find a new guy. third move.....parts car.

The screws I lost at the upholstery guy were replacements which promptly rusted. they were just a black pan head. It’s hard to find a good upholstery shop in CA. I’m on my 4th one but I like this guy. Since the car is a Capri and not a mustang, There is no judging  standards. Even if there were, so few were made and even fewer around today.

I thought the Ford hardware would hold up better.
