Topic: New Section Added to the Marketplace Section of the Site

We've added a subsection to the Marketplace titled - Parts Seen On The Web

This section is for members to bring to attention hard to find or interesting items they found for sale on the internet that they do not have any direct interest (not their ads) in. As the section description reads these will normally have a very short life so they will not remain up and active in most cases for too long. We'll see how it goes. In most cases links will disappear on their own after a short period of time.

Hope this fills a need and is helpful to some of you.

Removal of inactive listings after 30 days keeps this Forum's "bits and bites" in check, but the pricing information is a guideline for trends in value. That informatiom may be worth keeping for a longer period of time than 30 days.

The challenge is that the ads disappear and there are allot that go unsold (have reserved price)  The historical pricing can be of help and one reason I've been leaving regular ad information on the site though locked after a sale. We'll see how things go and adjust
