Convertible Quarter Panel Snake Emblem
« on: December 08, 2019, 05:24:14 AM »
Is there a proper emblem for the rear quarter panel snake emblem on a 1969 convertible? I have read that the convertible only had the snake while the sportsroof cars had the snake and "SHELBY" lettering. I have seen convertibles that had either as well as one that had the "COBRA" emblem. What is the latest consensus?

Maybe not what you want to hear but It could be any of the above for ether fastback or convertible. All with about the same consistency.

If your doing a particular car maybe seeing what other cars built around the same time had may provide you some place to at least start or logical choose if you have not original location for that particular car. But if your just looking at the complete production year as Bob wrote you can find examples each application
