There were a couple of different versions of the original jack instructions installed during 66 production. Looking at other San Jose examples with projected build dates on Jan the -C version is what I'm finding on unrestored cars.
Now comparing the stickers most of the difference is in the art work related to the close up of the spare - larger, at an angle, lower drawing. Differences are numerous with misshaped lines, misplaced text and other differences. In the large text to the left of that there are issues with the misalignment of letters and lines. Sure there is more if I spent more time with both. I stopped once I got to a dozen differences. Of course most people looking at the reproduction would never notice and they pass inspection during judging
every weekend
Must say (done a fair amount of stickers and decals) that allot of mistakes are a result of a worker thinking they are correcting the original design or taking shortcuts and in turn loose the focus that they should be making an exact copy not a better one
As a note: We don't know what the source is of the decal you posted and if another producer (currently I think there are only two providers) makes a closer or correct one.
