Replacing shocks
« on: October 14, 2019, 08:51:59 PM »
I am replacing my shocks on my 1965 mustang (build date 8/5/1965 San Jose).  Would the upper mounting and shock color have been black or silver when It left the San Jose plant?

The upper shock mounting was typically painted black which was pretty specific to the SJ plant at the time. The shocks were typically black regardless of plant.
