after thinking about this gasket & no repo or service replacement ever made & every car with a holley anyway needs this gasket I talked to a guy today who knows a gasket maker & he is going to see about making these as they should be fairly easy  to make & we are going to have them made like the assembly line ones we got concours correct.

Back to making original carb gaskets since the other 2 guys never came thru making them and this is a much needed highly visable part and no repo out there that I have come across. I sent one of my assembly line gaskets to chris brown and he is at sema show getting quotes to make this part correctly but trying to figure out if there were 2 vendors or 65 66 then 67 and up as I have seen some differences . My 69 MPC calls for c5zz-b and I got some nos c5zz-b and c5zz-c and wondering if anyone has seen a c5zz-a ?  Found my dearborn assembly gasket and its got red stripes on one side and c7zf 9654 a black ink stamped on top side and I seen a thin assembly line gasket thin solid red on one side and c5af 9654 a ink stamped and I got thick original gaskets with red stripes and solid red so is this a running change or 2 vendors anybody know or have original examples off documented cars??  Also some are 2 stacked layers and 3 thin stacked layers bonded together and anybody know if the red was some sort of glue or a red dye and if its paint its very thin?

Which gasket would be used on a 67 GT350?
Thick with red dye?

I thought only the 65/66 Shelby's had the intakes swapped at SA.
By 67 weren't the intakes and carbs done by Ford?

Late 65 on Ford did the intake swap . Exception being some small blocks in 68 .
