The bare 5C3 hipo heads have SOLD. 7H hipo heads are avail separate.

The standard hipo shortblock continues to be for sale.

This hipo engine was pulled from a 64 Mercury Comet in favor of building a 427 FE AFX type clone. The hipo was said to have been sent by Ford to a facility in Ohio for some type of research. I can say that the pan that was on the engine when it was discovered had a temp probe epoxied into the side of the stock pan?? When the research exercise was finalized Ford never called the engines back. It was said there was 3 or 4 that sat on pallets in a temp controlled warehouse for several years. The comet owner who also resided in Ohio was able to buy one of the engines. He claims to have put about 2500 miles on the Comet with this engine. I have listened to the engine run. NO smoke. The inside of the engine is spotless and with the standard bore and stock Ford pistons it sure reflects the claimed mileage. Not sure if any of the story is correct but I'm telling the story as it came to me so don't shoot the messenger!-Ray

Do you still have the short block?  I might be interested in that.
