1967 GTA 390 coupe
« on: June 02, 2019, 11:11:28 PM »
Let me preface by saying this is not a concours car. But I believe it could get there with little effort in the hands of a pro. I tried to restore it as close as I knew how but this is my first project of this magnitude.  I felt the car deserved that given its documentation (it had been somewhat stripped for racing)
I’ve already addressed some of the obvious things that you will see are wrong...
Just got a correct air cleaner and decals (blue 390 for SJ build, right?) having the lid re-chromed
Fan shroud is coming
I have a pair of deluxe seat shields but have not found the trim pieces
Took the Duracell sticker off the side of the battery  ::)
I know it’s not perfect so please don’t beat me up. Just wondering if anyone here is interested or has some friendly advice. Feel free to check the Marti report against the restoration.

I also just learned that the front bumper guards were standard equipment on all cars and that the rear guards should be painted. I love this forum!
