Drive shaft paint stripes Jan 16th 1966 A Code 4 Speed
« on: January 23, 2019, 12:46:49 PM »
I'm sure this has been covered before, and I did do a search, but couldn't find any information for my particular application.
Working on this '66 Dearborn conv. A code, 4 spd. Jan. 16th, 1966.
Trying to duplicate the correct color stripes and markings. The original driveshaft was blasted and painted before I could research it.   :(
 Any info?
        Thanks, Pete.

Pete did you use the search feature?

A couple of examples have already been posted. Of the two I found the same colors were used, similar locations but the colors reversed from one another. Happened some times.

Looks to be a pink/lavender and bright green stripe near the rear end of the driveline

Maybe I didn't use the search feature correctly. I'll try again.

                      Thanks,  Pete.

One or more were also posted in threads of 65 4 speeds  ::)  That's why we try and keep things neat as it makes it more challenging for others during specific searches when you don't stay on subject.  Do though realize some are just trying to help but it can get confusing and in the short run not really providing help
