Heater and Defroster pages E4-E5 8153-1 and -2 are noted in the 'index' but not in my copy of this very helpful manual.

Is this common in everyone's copies.

most likely. osborn's manuals are just a compilation of what he could find and put together. we're lucky to have them.

My 66 Electrical Assembly Manual has not only 8153-1 and -2, but also 8153-3.

PM me your Email and I will scan them in high resolution and Email them to you.

Bob

P.S. My Contents (Index) pages have no reference to any "E4's or E5's", only "E6's. Maybe this was corrected in my edition also ?

Yes, those pages are missing. The "E4-E5-" reference shows that 1964 and (early) 65 were probably the same, most likely showing a two speed blower motor system. The 1965 pages (AM0008 pg 21 and 22, E5-8153-1 and -2) show a three speed blower motor system introduced in the 65 model year.
My 66 Electrical Assembly Manual has not only 8153-1 and -2, but also 8153-3.

I would not recommend you making copies as the 66 version is for a three speed blower motor system.

Jim : My mistake. You are correct. For some reason, I was focusing in on this referring to '66, not 64-1/2. Thanks for waking me up.

I do it too. But in the interest of restoration and other stuff, here are copies from the 60-68 MPC on the 60-65 Falcon 2 speed heater and the 65-66 Mustang 3 speed heaters for comparisons. A 64 Mustang would use 64/65 Falcon setup.

Super response. Thanks to all.
Yes even though I have the 2 speed up/down fan switch, that particular reassembly is fairly simple.
But these manuals are indispensable for getting the hardware right, and the Falcon layout seems 90+% good.
