Topic: 64 1/2 3734S Fuel Pump Reference

Some pics of an original 64 1/2 260/289 fuel pump.  This was an original pump from a late April '64 260 car that has been rebuilt/restored.  C4 date (March '64).

Just sharing for reference since we get questions from owners on what is the correct fuel pump for their car.

Thanks Charles. Yes, this is the same on I have on my June 64 convertible. They are getting harder to find, would like to get a correct date code spare some day.

+1 Thanks as well Charles. I have the same pump on my 6/64 Dearborn Coupe. One question, should the fuel filter can be the white with red letter stamping as you have pictured, or the Red can with white letter stamping?

Should be white with red lettering.

Thanks Chris. So now I wonder why  and where the Red can was used?? Maybe a different car line? or earlier time frame?
