1967 Fuel Gauge W/Tach.

Can over-voltage from the regulator damage the fuel gauge?  I had a regulator that was putting out about 9 volts. When the tank is full it no longer reads anymore than 3/4 of a tank.

9V input shouldn't harm the gauge itself.  That's the reason for the gauge reading low, though.
