Looks like the 17093-B is when they added the top view. For what it’s worth, that C6 repo has been around for at least 30 years. Surprised nobody has scanned an original and made a better version yet

Believe its the C6 change also (whole part number) when the change to the additional illustration was added. Not aware that a -A was every printed and installed at nay plant yet.  At least have not seen evidence at this point.

Unfortunately just scanning an original doesn't make for a good clear reproduction either. And all those little details that get lost or improved during the process give us what we have. Would be worth the effort since so many cars used them.  Would be nice to see what ECS's current offering is

Saw this from a build thread by VA Mustang. May want to contact them to see if this is a repo 17093-C http://blog.virginiaclassicmustang.com/2018/11/just-details1966-shelby-mustang-gt350.html?m=1

Very odd looking decal (not easy to make out the part number for sure) as it appears to be a C4 decal with the later drawing

C6ZB-17093-C engineering number on this decal.

What is a "C4 decal"?

There are two manufacturers that I am aware of that make '66 Jacking Instruction Decals.

They both currently use the C6ZB-17093-C number.

One is cheaper and does not match the original exactly. It measures 7 1/16 inch x 5 3/8 inch.

The other (ECS) looks just like the original "-C" decal. It measures 7 3/8 inch x 5 7/8 inch.

The one in the picture above on 6S933 is the later decal listed here.

Here are some pictures of an original decal on 6S1732 (late March '66 San Jose):

Thanks for posting the picture of the C6ZB-B decal. Does anyone have a clear picture of an original C6ZB-A decal? I would be interested in seeing if we could make some.

Thanks Brant, I guess up next is when were -A, -B and -C used. Wish I had more of the -B for reference but I’m sure more will surface
