Topic: 64.5 Convertible Carpet like 65

The 1964.5 Differences Library Link states as follows:

     Carpeting in coupe stops at inner rocker panel, with color-keyed vinyl under door sill plate (64 convertible is like 65.) Some early 65 cars have been spotted with the early
      style carpet, including early 65 Fastbacks.

To ask the dumb question: Does that mean for 1964.5 Convertible models (mine is May 8, 1964), the carpet went under the door sill plate and did not have the vinyl?

yep. no need for vinyl. the rockers are different.

64.5 and into early 65 convertibles would have carpet with no toe pad though.
