1966 GT exhaust tip specs
« on: August 28, 2018, 07:43:37 PM »
Looking for dimensions of the distance the "tips" extend past the valance, or the bezels.

Thanks

using the search feature I came up with the following. Used the words "GT exhaust tip"

I wish I could remember, but I know it was an old article about installing original GT tips. They said that the weld where the natural metal exhaust piece welds to the chrome tip section should be just inside the edge of the bottom of the valance opening when looking from below the car, see my crude illustration and final photo of my installed NOS tips on Fuller exhaust system. Using this method it came out looking correct to me.

Good luck.

Looks great Jason.  Did you happen to take a video of what the Scott Fuller GT system sounds like?
