65 Rocker trim
« on: July 28, 2018, 06:35:03 PM »
Did the 1965 K-code fastback Mustangs come off the San Jose assembly line with the exterior rocker trim that runs under the doors and terminates at the front and rear fender wells?  I suspect they were an option from the factory, or maybe a dealer-installed accessory, as I see many pictures on Google Images of Hi-po Mustangs with and without this trim.  Thanks, Ron

I believe most cars had them but they were an option.  You will find them deleted on Factory GT's and Shelby's

A 65 K code would not be any different than a C code or 6 cylinder in this regards.

Reason I changed the title ;) if your wondering
