I’m looking for a set of hold down brackets for a 7/8 front Stabilizer bar ( Sway bar )
Does any one know if brackets for same year but different size bushing would work??
I have a line on 3/4 bushing brackets and was wondering if the only difference was the hole size in the bushing?
69 Mustang GT
Any help appreciated
Dan

Originally brackets were different between different applications in 69

See six different ones listed in the MPC

- 6 and 8 cylinder except 390 w/comp or GT package and 428

- 390 w/comp or GT package and 428

- Two for Boss 302

- Two for Boss 429

Good example of that version with the wrap around retainers in the middle of the bracket

A couple of versions side by side

From the picture above it looks like I need the one similar to the one on the right as the correct bushing has shoulders on it. And from Jeff's info he posted it would be compatible for models of 6 and 8 cylinder except 390 w/comp or GT
Many Thanks to all, The hunt is on

Your in luck because those will be on 99% it seems of the 69 Mustangs you come across in salvage yards etc.
