Fastback Trunk Hinge Arm Stop Survey
« on: May 07, 2022, 07:20:26 PM »
Looking to focus on a subject that came up in a large (encompassed a bunch of details) earlier thread.
As mentioned in the title would like to look at the passenger side fastback trunk hinge arm stop feature as illustrated below.

If you can share please include the cars VIN (or a shortened version if you want), style of hinge and date from the hinge.
Not unusual for these to be swapped since they are a bolt on item

Thanks

7- Passenger side trunk hinge - No arm stops, welded stops or integrated stops?

With welded stops

With integrated stops

- I don't see stops in the picture No date available
My Note/Observation picture appears to be of a hinge formed in the style of the welded stops with no stops visible

- Passenger side trunk hinge - Top is welded -- there is no lower and shows no signs of ever have been there.

DKutz posted a picture of a estimated Oct 64 San Jose fastback
- Welded stops - May show a Sept (9) date code
