Where is the front valance install instructions in the ford assembly manuals?  I have looked thru 3 times . Am i missing it somewhere?

There isn't one, actually three. The Ford drawing ID numbers in the lower right corner are the clue. Pages in the 69 Body Assembly manual are N9-105-2, N9-105-4 and N9-105-6 thru 9. Missing are N9-105-1 (hood hinges, shock tower braces), N9-105-3 (hood latch, H/L buckets) and N9-105-5 (lower stone guard - the "valence", bumper).
Your options are:
- download the 75 MPC - http://squarebirds.org/Manuals/1965/1965-72FordPartsTextCatalog/ and use that - it's "close".
- buy a 70 Body Manual - it's also "close".
