Topic: Glovebox painting

Looking at my glovebox hinge, the witness marks indicate that that the glovebox door was attached to the dash frame when painted. if this is correct, does this mean that the hardware was painted as well? it is a Nov 15, 69 Dearborn car.

Yes = Where there is a paint shadow it would indicate that the bolt was in place and painted with the dash. This practice was started in 67 as shown in threads in that section
