Plastic grille rivet how to

Is there a special tool to get these grille rivets installed. Im not having much luck with my sledge hammer.

Try drilling out the  headlite bucket holes as over the years too much paint buildup inside the 4 holes that mount the grille & this will help the plastic grille rivets to spread apart easier when pushed down.

I know the problem.  Something needs to get drilled, opened up, and I think I would try the rivet.  Brian

Read on vintage mustangs, wd40 helps, gonna try that. Lube did it
