390 Top Loader bell housing finish
« on: March 21, 2018, 04:30:13 AM »
Wondering what the consensus is on correct finish for a 68' 390 bell housing for a top loader / 4 speed.

I've seen some in natural cast iron, others Ford Corporate blue, others cast iron with what looks like some blue overspray from the block near the front face.

Appreciate the advice.

Thanks in advance.

+1. It was bolted to the block when the block was painted. They didn't try to paint it so it just got the overspray .
