Topic: My new reproduction muffler sounds like a can of bees. 1966 convertible 6cyl.

I think it is a Scott drake system. It’s just loud.... sounds a bit like an import. Has anyone else had this experience? I would like to stay with the factory appearance system I would just love it to be more quiet.
Thoughts anyone?

Resonator would be your best bet if you don't already have one. I personally went with the same system on my 8 cyl minus the resonator and it has a little noise to it. obviously probably sounds a little better with a 8 compared to the 6.
