1967 Alternator Bracket
« on: December 26, 2023, 03:44:55 PM »
Purchased Bob Mannel's engine book and was looking through the engineering numbers for my 67 289 lower alternator bracket and saw where the numbers changed from C5AE to C7OE and the design changed slightly for more clearance from the water pump pulley. Was this changed for all applications or certain options? My current bracket is a C5AE with a no PS no AC car. I can purchase a bracket no problem, just want to know which part number would be acceptable.

I am pretty sure that the C7 part would have been used on all applications.
