Front valance, bumper, headlight assembly. Need advice.
« on: March 06, 2018, 01:29:09 PM »
Hi guys!  Putting together the front of a '66 and was wondering what is the best order of assembly? Lower valance first; bumper, headlight support.
Have already fed the wiring harness through and installed the condenser, and am getting ready to install the rest of the front end.

  Thanks,   Pete.

Pete,
The 66 Mustang Assembly manuals are sequenced in assembly order. You should get a set.
- headlight buckets, less bulbs,
- grill radiator bar,
- deflector,
- wiring,
- bumper brackets,
- bumper,
- lower valence, with parking lamps, route wires to headlamp buckets,
Others will insert stuff I missed.

Super! Thanks so much. That's exactly what I was looking for.
I guess it is time I invested in an assembly manual.  :-[
