C4 trans vacuum mod line
« on: January 19, 2018, 01:41:33 PM »
Not sure if it should go here or in the parts section but picked up a new vacuum mod line for a c4 automatic one piece with one threaded end. Comparing it to my old one the bends seem completely different. The part was made in 2008 so not sure if they have made improvements since then. Was going to replace my old one but seemed to clean up nicely after some steel wool.

Most brake lines and vacuum lines sold for classic mustangs today are made by Classic Tube located in Upstate NY.

The lines are never "Exact" but are close and in the ballpark...You usually have to "tweak" them a bit.  It's pretty normal I have found.

+1 on that. Ive replaced the majority of my lines with Classic Tube Products. With a little tweaking here and there they usually fit great.
