An unusual 65 underdash harness
« on: December 22, 2017, 09:36:15 PM »
One of my customers sent me an early (2 speed heater version) 1965 harness.  What's very unusual about this one is that the 2 speed wiper harness is integral with the underdash, which I always see in the 64.5 harnesses.  I've run across at least 150 65's and have never seen an integral wiper harness.  This must have come from an extremely early 65 run.  I'll try to confirm with the customer as to his VIN sequence.

The owner provided a VIN ending in 12999X, which puts it squarely in 13H, the first few days of true 65 production at Dearborn.  It also was missing the fused power green/yellow female bullet at the gauge feed harness plug, another feature of these very early 65's.
