Parts cars are far and few in Europe and I do prefer original parts!ThanksJohn
Then I guess you have a choice, ether give up and only think of ways you can't or think outside the box and think of ways to accomplish your goal . Example call West Coast Cougar or other Mustang or Cougar used parts vendors and buy some used windlace . Best of luck with what ever you decide.
Was there a special style used in Dearborn? Color and "grain"?
john nothing special most windlacing is the same & always black on ca. evap cars i seen . Just checked a jan 69 built low mile met. car & original grey strip still glued in place.
Would be similar to what was used inside the cars in 70 not like the stuff used in the earlier years with the noticeable uniform patternNot sure if I have a close up of the later stuff. Maybe I'll check my Cougar
I was going to ask if this applies to Cougar as well. Mine is MIA (Oct 1969, Dearborn build, California evaporative emissions).
for 66 san jose car, were the black protectors glued on with yellow contact cement?
