Topic: 64 1/2 rear hangers - export?

Hi folks,
I am unsure for what these hangers are. They are located left and right side of the rear undercarriage. I am sure someone knows for which reason they were put on the car.

My car is a Dearborn built, DSO 75 Phoenix car

I was thinking maybe these hangers have sth to do with an export car, but I was told my car was always in Texas. Has no washer bag and no export braces.

Tie Down points for shipment from the factory to dealers. Dealers were to remove them before delivery to the customer however most never were.
