Hi Ladys and Gentlemen,
My Convertible (Info in sig.) has a buck tag that says "TINT."  It was a "C/O" customer ordered car.  It didn't have factory air.
Did TINT mean ALL glass?  Could it possibly mean just the windshield if C/O car.
My driver's door and window is original and the "BUG" doesn't say SUN-X.

TINT on a buck tag is usually only found on convertibles, which would call out the installation of a tinted band windshield (a separate regular production option (RPO.))  Based on my observations, TINT does not refer to any glass other than the windshield.

Friendly FYI on the c/o... it does not mean "customer order."  K. Marti laid that to rest once he obtained the Ford production database and checked the order types.  At this point, I don't think anyone knows for sure what it means.

This subject came up in another thread recently, and I thought it worthy of mentioning a slight difference to Charles' comment.

According to Marti's Tagbook pgs. 137-138, the Tint and Clear designations refer to the side glass of the car. My '66 Metuchen convertible has a Clear designation, so I cannot verify this. Maybe a Tint owner might.
