WTB: 66 HiPo GT Sway Bar Bushings - Proper 13/16" ones
« on: April 04, 2017, 08:49:31 PM »
Looking for correct bushings for my K-Code sway bar, either good condition used ones or NOS would be even better. These should be the the 13/16" ones, no repros made. Here's a picture from Brants Virginia Classic Mustangs build of what I'm talking about, it's the last last photo on the page.

Private message me if you have anything.

Thanks,

You might consider acquiring some of the C4DZ 5/8" NOS ones and boring them out to the proper size.

I've never seen NOS ones and good originals are almost impossible to find.

Are they the same footprint as the ones I'm looking for except for the hole, I like this idea actually...

Thanks,

Yes, they are the same style.  As you may know, the C6OZ ones have the extra molded edges.  I've used those before and cut the extra edge off, but it's easy to spot if looking closely.

Yeah, that's what I've run into and not liking the "look". Thanks for this idea, think I'm going to try it...

By the way, do you happen to know the correct original part number for the correct bushings? Can't seem to locate it.

Thanks,

Jason

Scott Drake incorrectly uses this number for his 7/8" repro bushings.  ::)
