Boeshield Rust-Free??

I don't think it is acid-based, but more of a oil or petroleum product.  It is not a rust remover, but a rust preventative solely by not allowing steel to be exposed to moisture.  It is also not permanent.

The OP is referring to another product in the Boe Shield line of products that is a rust remover. I am not familiar with it or it's ingredients

You are right!  I saw BoeShield and immediately jumped to the conclusion that it was the T9!  My apologies.

Shouldn't be that difficult to find the MSDS for the product

The bottle show phosphoric acid.    MSDS also cites Isopropyl alcohol.

I have used it before to remove surface rust from tail pipes. It's more aggressive than Evaporust.
