don't have pics but has anyone delt with this? on a 66 t code coupe daily driver, just don't want to change door and have paint hassle. possibly clean, treat and cover with an asthetic panel or grille? and not be gaudy!!!!

  • That'll be easy
My recommendations would be:
Slow the rust....by cleaning out any sand/dirt/debris and simply coating it with oil or other
Stop the rust...by cleaning and converting it with a rust converter, then coating with oil or other
Remove the rust....by cutting it out and starting new

Being from the East Coast, I have sought the advice of a professional....my therapist says to embrace the rust as it is natural.

Others will likely provide more useful advice... ;D
