1969 Mustang Rear Tie Down Brackets - Dearborn
« on: December 05, 2016, 02:08:27 PM »
I am looking for a pair in nice condition for a big block dual exhaust Mustang.

frame rail mounting area on the top of bracket would have rounded edges.

Thank you for your help.

Well at least you could use the repros ...........as they were Dearborn "round edged" style !     Seems the San Jose are always in better shape when looking at originals.

I have extra pairs of San Jose non pitted Rear Tie Down Brackets and
one complete set of the correct San Jose hardware for trade available
too.

Thanks for the suggestion Mark, but the San Jose hold downs have a different overall
shape from the Dearborn as well.......

Hearing you have a trade set - you should talk to Marcus or Jim in AZ !    (If they aren't doing a Boss right now they may work with you)

My car is a San Jose SCJ so mine won't work.   I do have a set with my Boss BUT doubt they will work.  (let me look)
Where do you live?

Mark,
I live in New Jersey.

Yes, Jim (Rockhouse) helped me with a part earlier this year.
Thanks, Sean

That is because the SJ style was typically painted black where as the Dearborn style was bare steel with no protection.
