I apologize if this has been discussed before.
I have noticed 2 different chrome trim molding styles on the sides of the FRONT fold down panel that the upper seat cushion attaches to. This panel would be in the middle once the seat is folded down. The early style has an angled cut directly at the bottom corner while the later style has the folded over corners that is commonly seen all the way through 1970 production. The lower trim piece(when seat is NOT folded down) also has different end cuts to mate to the 2 different sides. It looks to be a changeover sometime in the 65 model year. I don't believe it was plant specific, although each plant might have had a different changeover date to use up existing supply. Wondering if 65 Fastback owners can chime in to possibly narrow down a changeover date?
