Battery hold down bracket- 69 on a 68 ?
« on: September 18, 2016, 09:34:04 PM »
Hello all, when I bought my 1968 back in 1988,  it had a 69 battery hold down clamp.  The build date is Dec 8.

Could they have installed a 69 clamp at the factory?  If so,  how does this work at a judged show?

The same metal rubber dipped battery hold down clamp was used 67-69. Are you sure your not confusing the 1970 plastic one?

I always thought the plastic bracket started in 69,  as shown in this link.   Maybe this is not the case?
