Steering wheel pad bezels, something's missing

How are the little round bezels attached?  Glue? 

Definitely not friction fit, already tried that.

The stud was melted from the back side originally. I have used epoxy.

No kidding? If that's the case,  this is another repro example where they don't give any explanation on proper installation...its just a mystery.  And it seem Drake is leading this.  His website has terrible,  basic descriptions of the items, and zero installation instructions when you get the product.  It's almost a joke that the installer has to figure out that this item needs to be plastic welded together. I would have never thought of that.

I used plastic model glue.

I use the Nail Glue that women use to put fake fingernails on. Use it on my car models all the time and works much better than the rubber cement that Testors sells for them. It dries quicker and much stronger. You just gotta be comfortable searching the cosmetics section at the supermarket.  ;)

Super Glue might work just as well.
