Firewall Clips
« on: May 20, 2020, 07:51:27 PM »
Was wondering if anyone here could tell me what goes where. My disassembly pics aren't clear.

I have the C6 shifter light wire currently hanging from a J hook in the green circle, but not sure if that's correct.
I'm thinking the shifter light wire and reverse light wires maybe both hung from a plastic loop in this location (or maybe the blue location) instead??

This may not be on your agenda but the firewall sealer needs to be applied around all of the things that come through the firewall before any clips are aplied. I thought I would remind you just in case you were trying to do things the concours way.

I know I probably should add the sealer, but it looks so nice without.
So far I haven’t been able to bring myself to put it on :)

Your window for deciding is closing given the next steps . ;) Trying to do a decent job with the engine in for instance is very problematic. If you don't mind it not looking assemblyline then don't worry about it.
