What was used for Metuchen for the hood weatherstrip?  Mine original support had large enough holes that were not staple holes.  I used screws to secure.  Curious to see what would be correct for Metuchen 10/08/69 build date.

My 5/69 Metuchen has staples.

Wish I had more examples (seems more early than late cars) appears there is a pattern to method used to attach them
Posted each below for your, review,  use and application if you choose to. Stayed with Mach I's so that the confusion of the longer/wider seal would not confuse the discussion and I also had more Mach's with AC and the seal :)
