67 Trunk Letters
« on: July 13, 2016, 03:47:06 PM »
I'm looking for an NOS set of "mustang" deck lid letters. I'm looking for the original type with the pins. If you have a set, please contact me. Thanks!

Pin letters from the fender on a 67 non-GT are the same ;) 67-69??? same on the trunk??? <---(somebody check this if you can)
NOS will be tough, aftermarkets are as usual a joke and originals are often fairly pitted (won't re-chrome flawlessly) If you hunt originals from arid climates, you might find some worth sending to a plater. Fortunately, mine are good enough to send out, those and the hood's F O R D lettering. I'm hoping the cost is reasonable but those are another day for my project (with a few other plating jobs ;)

The trunk and hood letter are the same. I usually clean up originals although it is tedious.
