Application is a July 67, 289 2v C4. I am not concerned with date codes...looking to replace a worn slip yoke.
The yoke is worn in one spot. The spot is approximately 1" wide and runs the length of the tail-shaft bushing. Would this have been caused by a bad U-joint (tight or loose) some time in the past, a balance issue, or possibly something else I should be concerned with? Current front u-joint does not bind and does not seem loose. Not sure if it is original...my guess is no.
I intend to replace the seal and bushing.
