67 a/c field & clutch

Im trying to assemble a working 67 a/c system and came across something Im not sure of, are both of these parts make up a working clutch ? These would be #7 and #10. it seems 7 was on my compressor but not #10 are both needed ?

No both are not used on the same clutch. There are two different styles, one used the points and the other a inductive coil.

Is it possible to change out worn carbons from a factory switch (#7 above ) or was the whole switch replaced ?

I suppose they could but most choose to get another brush switch . The C7 and C8 marked are still fairly common.

Thanks Bob, I did find a good C7 part but  thought it would be wise to do preventative maintenance before installation. ;)
