Tach cars have idiot lights and use a different oil pressure sending units than non-tach gauge cars. The idiot light sending unit has a threaded post similar to the water temperature sending unit.

Per Paul's examples, I have had the early C7GB 390 engine gauge feed harness reproduced and a limited number are now available.
